Background: I have my Bachelors degree in Biology with a concentration in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont. I love to spend my time running, xc skiing, at the beach, camping, traveling, and basically anything I can do with my dog Sam.
Animals at home: Everyday I come home to my best bud Sam, a happy, wiggly boxer mix. I also have four chickens, Scarlett, Ripple, Alma, and Scotch as well as fish named Little Tom Brady.
Why do you like working with people who care about their animals? It is great to be surrounded by people who can be so different but are brought together through the same passion, caring for animals. I love doing what I do with the people I do it with because of how rewarding it feels to get a face full of kisses, a wagging tail, and being covered head to toe in hair without any judgement.
What we learn from animals: Best said by Gilda Radner..."I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive."
