Alex St. Pierre, VMD Veterinarian, Practice Owner
A North Shore native, Dr. St. Pierre grew up in Hamilton, working at HWVH as an assistant while attending Pingree School. She completed her undergraduate degree in Classical Languages before moving on to earning her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania followed by a large animal internship at the University of Georgia. After spending two years living and practicing veterinary medicine in England (including a year working with racehorses at Newmarket Equine Hospital), Alex made the definitive transition to small animal general practice at Hamilton Wenham Veterinary Hospital.
She and her husband Andrew currently live in Ipswich with their young son and a very silly staffy dog named Gilly. In her free time, Dr. St. Pierre enjoys traveling abroad, reading the occasional book, and above all else, spending time with her son exploring the beautiful North Shore.
